In order to realize a society where women and men are able to live, work, and participate together in a variety of fields, the Dawn Center plays an important role as an information center. It supports women's independence, provides an information network, promotes international exchanges, and encoureages cultural expression.

1. Information Programs
The information library, situated on the second floor of the Dawn Center, contains a wide range of current information related to women such as books, magazines, videos, and various data. Center visitors can read or borrow almost all of them, as well as watch videos and consult the librarians.
The center have developed and offers a system called "Information CAN Dawn Net." People can access it from home or work through the personal computer communication system, the Internet.
Various lectures designed to teach women the skills required to access and make the most of information in this information-oriented society, in addition to practical classes on how to operate the Dawn Net,are provided.
